Amazing game
Amazing baseball game tonight, Atlanta vs. the Cubs. I need to get a tv and get this or sign up for the online service again with a tv and my laptop, probably that option. I wouldn't be able to watch any Jays games but I could watch all the Tampa and Braves games.
Cubs leading 5-0 in the 6th and the Cubs have a no hitter, Braves get three in the 8th, come back with a 2 run homer by Jeff Francoeur in the 9th, tie game.
10th inning leadoff single, sac bunt, fielder's choice gets the runner to third. They put Chipper on and then walk Brian McCann to load the bases, then end up not scoring but I'm into it. Now the 11th.... need baseball!
Ted Lilly pitching tomorrow night leading the Cubs in wins vs. the Braves, it's like my dream match up. I'm supposed to go to a play, may skip it.
Update: Francoeur's first career sac bunt. Was this game played just to encourage me to watch more baseball? Maybe. On to the 12th. Sleepy though.
Last update: Chipper Jones wins the game in the 12th. First 5 run come back since Sept. 2007. Braves win.

In Ottawa, Queeroes book launch
In Ottawa now til Friday. Will take some photos tomorrow, was really tired today.
Move went pretty good. The worst thing that happened is I haven't got access to the parking garage yet so I can't throw out any boxes as the recycling and oversize garbage is down there. Not too bad and I LOVE my new place. Will post some photos soon.
Went to a book launch for Queeroes on Friday night:
And found these cool photos taken 5 days after the Stonewall riots, the watershed gay uprising in America. Cops would come in and arrest random people in gay bars all the time. Gays were not allowed to be served alcohol in 1969 in New York City.
Club owners string lights on the sign of the bar to let customers know it was safe to return.
Tomorrow going to a play as part of the Magnetic North festival, Thursday the National Gallery is free from 5-9. The only thing I have for next week is going to see Little Ashes at the local rep theatre, the story of Salvador Dali. Will have to find something else to do in Ottawa all weekend.

Drawing
Went to a life drawing class yesterday afternoon. Considering I have never drawn anything in my life and just went for the hot guy, I don't think they're too bad! Well, he kind of looks like Hitler in the last one, but faces are hard.
My phone and internet were shut off today. Moving tomorrow, wish me luck!

Bust
Went to a play at Buddies, Eternal Hydra, tonight.
On the way down it rained and then once inside the theatre, as I was soaked, I noticed it was 100 degrees.
The play was dry and after about an hour of drying not to nod off, I realized I hadn't eaten yet today. My attention span, always relatively short, is shorter lately due to my impending move on Monday. Well, that and McDonalds Rolo iced coffee, which I drink about 7 of a day.
The play ended abruptly and at 9:30 as I left, the usher said "Intermission is 15 minutes" and I ran for my life.
I stopped by Woody's for the launch of the photo-novella "Guys Like You". It was the launch party tonight and they had a huge sign on the front of the bar. Once inside, 10 people in total and no copies of the magazine. Perhaps everyone rushed in at 9, got their copy and then ran home to read it?
Overall a bust.
Tomorrow a dance show hosted by Keith Cole for $10. Should be much better.
