Baby by Robert Rodi
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I love the Robert Rodi resurgence of late and was happy to sponsor this book's Kickstarter campaign.
This book is less in depth than his previous effort, the Sugarman Bootlegs, but is still a damn fine story. Rodi uses a big vocabulary and well drawn-out characters to set up this Hitchcockian thriller about a baby named Baby and something lurking in the shadows.
I enjoyed the story, it was a fast page turner, and wish Rodi was able to write more fiction.
